This years trip was a blast but it took me this long to write it here. I was touched by everything that happened and i met so many new and interesting people that I will never forget (David from Michigan). When i got home I told all my friends that we all have to go in 2010!!!! Heres a Shout out to Beka the best friend ever, David, Brad, Amy and her friends, and all those people I gave high fives too!!!LOVE YOU ALL!! |

Hi everyone! I had an amazing time at the gathering and I spent alot of time with friends from other state and now have lasting relationship. I say Leah Abel (late night prayer and praise) did a amazing job and all the rest of the many volenteers! I am looking forward for the next one in three years! Can't wait till they determine the location!
My favorite time was late night prayer and praise because it brought a new kind of worship to our group of 50+ and I enjoyed the last night how our church and a few others just joined in a long chain of linked arms and just sang and we were all filled with Christ! It is amazing to know that we are always with him and he fills us and makes us full! I will never forget that and many other memories.

Hi- I attended Chosen this summer (my first Gathering) and had a BLAST! I'd just like to thank ALL the people who made it happen, which I know was a lot. It was a wonderful experience for me and I'll never forget it!

ok...coming to the event this year was amazing! I met a ton of new people. Who knew that there were that many teens who had the same love for christ as i do. The mass events were amazing and just gave me the chills. You could feel the love for christ in the air. The Jesus painter and the sand guy were incredible also. I cant wait till the next event. Even tho i will be to old to atend as a youth, i hope to be a young adult leader!

I went into this trip thinking that I was just getting a trip to Florida, filled with boring preachers and stuff. I came out of it with it being the most amazing experience of my life, and with a belief in God that no one can shake.
This Youth Gathering opened my eyes to a new world. A world with more hope and faith than anything I've ever experienced, and I hope it'll just get better. I also hope that some of you out there will get to experience the same thing. |

The LCMS Gathering is over. 15 youth from our Church at Grace in Le Mars,Iowa, went along with 5 chaperones. The Lord blessed them with safe travel and a wonderful experience of a lifetime. I praise the Lord Almighty for this Gathering that so many youth can get together and publicly show their faith to the world. You were CHOSEN and God's blessings to all of you that were there. |
